Past events and highlights of JCAAO

• Millennium Scholarship Fund:

The alumni launched a scholarship fund in 1997 to provide financial assistance to needy students to pursue primary, secondary as well as post-secondary education at Jaffna College irrespective of caste, creed, or gender.

• 175^th Anniversary of Jaffna College and the 125^th Anniversary of the parent alumni:

Souvenirs with interesting articles were published during the Annual dinner-dance to mark the 175^th Anniversary of Jaffna College, and the 125^th Anniversary of the parent alumni.

• JCAAO Silver Jubilee:

The Silver Jubilee Alumni celebration was celebrated in a grand style in 2012 with participation from many global partners. The celebration was followed by a trip to the Raja Rajeswari temple in Rochester, USA with a stop over at Niagara Falls.

• Daniel Poor Library Renovation:

The renovation of the library was undertaken in 2016-17 with alumni funds.

• Ottley Hall Renovation:

Currently, alumni are assisting in the Ottley Hall renovation.
